As the leading provider of ‘off the beaten track’ guided adventures in the Lysefjord, Outdoorlife Norway has built a portfolio of innovative tours that highlight Norway’s most iconic natural landmarks. Our specialty is guiding hassle-free, personal, small-scale, and high-quality hiking tours to Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock) and Kjerag.

Since 2014, we have lead more than 1,250 hikes to Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock), and more than 450 hikes to Kjerag. Besides group and private tours to these popular destinations, Outdoorlife Norway also offers unique hikes to hidden gems like Flørli (the world’s longest wooden staircase), Månafossen (our region’s highest waterfall), and many of the other spectacular landmarks Fjord Norway has to offer.

Our small team of educated, professional, and dedicated nature guides has the experience and know-how to ensure you a safe and memorable outdoor adventure into the fjords, mountains, and valleys of the Stavanger and Ryfylke regions.

We look forward to hiking with you!

FUN FACT 🤓
'Pinnebrød', (which literally means stick-bread but is known as twist-bread in English) is one of the things Norwegians enjoy cooking while they're sitting around a campfire. If you're in the Stavanger area this weekend, we invite you to experience this charming culinary tradition for yourself! We'll be at the Hiker's Cafe (at the Preikestolen trailhead) both Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 - 16:00 (4:00pm).

In Denmark we call these ‘snobrød’ which means wrappedbread - because you wrap it around your stick. Fun to do, and easy to bring in to nature - especially for the kids 👍
